Architectural Travel – Halifax, Nova Scotia

Everybody wants to be a travel writer, including me.  You get to travel to glamorous destinations, see amazing things, then return home to compose beautiful prose about the wonderful things you’ve done.  In October, friends in Canada sent me an invitation to experience the culinary charms of Halifax and the Annapolis Valley, two under-the-radar, hot beds of the slow-food movement.  Who knew?  Naturally we ate and drank like royalty but being a design writer, my attention was attracted to, well, the buildings.  I took three cameras, shot over 300 still images and about 70 minutes of video.  Whaaaaat ?!?   Here’s a short video and some web copy about what I experienced in the enticing land of Nova Scotia.  That’s right, Nova Scotia
